Eat Foods High in Electrons

Your health and quality of life depend on the degree you meet your requirements for life and protect yourself from injury.

First, let's acknowledge that the sun is your body's original energy source. Plants use solar energy directly, producing nutrients of the type most important to us. As first-hand energy sources, plants provide nutrients that are rich in electrons. An ample supply of electrons enables your body to protect itself against oxidative damage (chemical injury due to a lack of electrons).

That is how a diet that is predominately alkaline (electron supplying) strengthens your body and protects your health. Nutrients from plants (phytonutrients) are called antioxidants due to their ability to supply electrons and protect cells from oxidative damage.

Different colors of phytonutrients have specific roles in your cells, supporting cell structures and functions. So, do your best to eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables of different colors.

You can even convert acidic seeds (including grains) into young, alkaline vegetables, rich in electrons, by sprouting them.

In moderation, raw nuts and seeds (not roasted or toasted) are nutritious additions to your meals. Raw nut and seed butters are good too. Coconut milk, shredded coconut, and coconut oil (or extra virgin olive oil) are also beneficial to your health. Dark chocolate (not milk chocolate) is healthful, but don't overdo it.

As second-hand food sources, animal products are acidic (electron absorbing). However, organic eggs (or cage-free eggs) are healthful additions to a plant-based diet. Wild-caught fish (not farmed) may also be healthful additions to a plant-based diet but only when low in mercury. Avoid fish high in mercury: shark, Tilefish from the Gulf of Mexico, swordfish, Chilean bass, king mackerel, albacore tuna (Canned light tuna is better, wild salmon better still).

Also try to avoid foods that most commercial growers contaminate with herbicides and pesticides. Organically grown is best. Replace coffee (which is roasted), black tea, and sodas with herbal teas, of which there is a wide variety.

By the way, acidic foods not only deplete electrons, they often contain toxic byproducts of high-heat cooking. You can protect your health and quality of life by minimizing fried foods, beef, pork, commercial milk and cheese, refined sugar, and baked goods.

Just as plant life supplies the oxygen you breathe, it fulfills its purpose by providing most (if not all) of the other nutrients that you require for life. Allow solar energy to supply the electrons you need to protect your health and quality of life.

Enjoy the amazing flavors of fruits and vegetables with coconut milk at mealtime or anytime as a blended drink. Many people also enjoy the flavor and convenience of drinks made with fruit and vegetable concentrates.
